GV weekend


Thank you for a lovely weekend ladies. Sometimes you just need some girl love. and I did. as Jenna especially discovered when I asked her if I was loveable and burst into tears as she was dropping me off at the bus. Good times.

We did yoga. We gossiped. We ran on the beach. We slept, we ate, we stole hats. Perrin and Meredith were sorely missed.

I'll leave you with this image of the entryway of a small town grocery store gearing up to battle Harris Teeter opening down the street. I think the clown must be nearing the end of his run. At least I hope so.

    Hahaha you cried and asked if you were lovable? First of all, obviously you are. Second of all, that sounds eerily similar to when I cried in my editor's office and asked why I hadn't been invited to the staff dinner. Two peas in a pod.

    OK...so when is the next GV weekend going to be? Hearing about it makes me smile at my computer, but really I just want to see all of you and be a part of the next one! Can anyone do April? May? Here's one thought that may/may not be finalized already, but every year my parents rent (with another family) a beach house in Corolla, NC over Memorial Day weekend. Both families are there for Memorial Day weekend, but the house is normally rented for a whole week (starting the weekend before I believe)...what do you say to inhabiting it prior to the FamLieb takeover??

    If not this (as I know a lot of other people have annual MemDay plans) let's think of SOMETHING before then! I was thinking of trying to get to NYC around my Bday (May 13th) so thats another possibility...

    If nothing else, one of you GVs in DC better have a drink with me this weekend.

    I'm on my way to my first massage EVER to try and heal my neck....then to 6 hours of classes where I hope to just stay in blissville...
